When Two Dudes Painting Company originally met with co-owner, Crystal Weaver, she was eager to get the work done, but not too keen on having to shut her doors for as long as it would take to complete the project. From a logistics standpoint, traffic was also a factor. The cafe is located on 15 North Prince Street, one of the busiest blocks in the City.
We worked with Crystal to devise a plan to not only keep her business open during the project, but make every effort to make sure people knew it was, too.
"When the Dudes proposed the coupon idea, I was blown away! It was incredible to work with a crew who cared so much about my business and keeping my customers happy." --Crystal Weaver
Altogether, Two Dudes Painting Company power washed, patched, scraped, sanded, and painted the front, back and South side of the building. Once we were able to stabilize the surfaces, we applied Benjamin Moore's Regal Select Exterior High Build - Low Lustre in "Lace Handkerchief" on the stucco and "Windy City" on the trim.
"I didn’t want to have to worry about things like traffic control, over-spray on cars, or the safety of my customers.
Sure, I could have hired just about anyone to ‘paint’ [the building], but the Dudes had a reputation that gave me the assurance that logistically there wouldn’t be problems. That’s what I paid for, and that is exactly what I got.” --Crystal Weaver
