Life just seems to happen in the kitchen -- Whether everyone is gathered to enjoy some food or wind down the day, families have a way of finding themselves together in the kitchen. It’s a room that gets beat up and used hard -- especially when kids are in the picture.
The John family’s three children all grew up in their Lancaster Township home, so their kitchen has seen its share of friends, family, and dinners (and it shows). Now that the kids are grown up and living in their own homes, it’s time for a kitchen makeover that will usher in a new phase for the John family’s original homestead.

Kathy John wanted an easy way to update the kitchen without all the hassle and expense of a complete redesign. The home’s wooden cabinets are still structurally sound, but years of wear and tear meant they could use a refresher.

Enter Two Dudes: at our first visit to the John home we quickly removed all the cabinet doors and brought them back to our paint shop. (View our previous video to see how things work at the shop!) Here, our guys are able to put a factory-like finishing spray on the doors that will last for years, curing the paint and wood so that it will outlast anything that could be done with products onsite.

“There’s a lot of funny banter going on between us, I feel very comfortable with the work they are providing.” --Kathy John
